The 2016 Ritual Anachai Festival Incident
In 2016, I was booked for the Ritual Anachai festival, both with my solo project PARANDROID and with the Brain Blaster project. Our contract was clear and followed professional industry standards: 50% payment in advance, and the remaining 50% upon arrival before traveling to the festival location.
Upon our arrival, the organizers attempted to break this contract by failing to provide the final payment as agreed. We stood firm and insisted on the professional terms we had all agreed to. Because of our refusal to back down, we were among the very few artists who actually received their full and proper payment for that event.
This is precisely why the slander began.
To punish us for demanding what we were contractually owed, and to create a scapegoat to explain their financial chaos to others, the organizers invented a malicious story. They claimed we were fined for misconduct at our hotel. This is a complete fabrication. We had a great and respectful relationship with the entire hotel staff, and there were zero issues, complaints, or fines. They created this lie as revenge and as a cover for their own failures.
The Lie Resurfaces: The DAMARU Crew Cancellation
For years, this rumor has been a ghost. But now, it has materialized with real consequences. I was recently in the final stages of a booking with the DAMARU crew. They abruptly canceled the booking, citing these same old, baseless rumors as the reason.
They chose to accept nine-year-old gossip from a disputed event over professional due diligence. In doing so, they have now made themselves part of the problem, actively spreading this damaging falsehood that affects an artist’s career.
This is no longer about the past. It is about my present and my future.

When you see these rumors, challenge them with the facts presented here. Let promoters and bookers know that our community values integrity over gossip. Artists deserve respect and professionalism.
